HEILBRONN UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES (HNN)
With locations in Heilbronn, Künzelsau and Schwäbisch Hall, Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Heilbronn, HNN) is based in the economically strong regions of Heilbronn-Franken and Hohenlohe. It is an innovative partner for businesses in knowledge and technology transfer. Both students and graduates benefit from the close cooperation with businesses, which provides them with practical projects and ideal conditions for starting their careers.
The range of studies includes a total of around 50 degree programmes in the fields of Engineering, Business and Information Technology. Founded in 1961, today it counts more than 8,300 students across four campus locations, ranking among the largest universities of applied sciences in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg.
Since autumn 2016, a wide variety of business-related bachelor’s degree courses as well as their consecutive master’s study programmes have been taught at the Bildungscampus location. The focus of the schools accommodated at the Bildungscampus is on Business Administration and Tourism as well as on Hotel and Restaurant Management. Since autumn 2019, not only part of the administrative staff and rector’s office but also the entire School of Business and Transport Management with around 1,500 students have also been present on the Bildungscampus.
The Dieter Schwarz Foundation supports Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences by providing premises at the Bildungscampus and taking care of their initial equipment, for example.
On top of that, the Foundation fosters numerous other research and development projects and promotes the Germany Scholarship (Deutschlandstipendium) at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences.
